2.8 Upgrade Kit for the 300TDI

A kit of parts to increase the 300TDI diesel engine capacity to 2785cc from 2495cc

This kit increases the cubic capacity of the 300TDI from 2.5 litres to 2.8 litres. This is achieved by increasing the bore and stroke

HS 2.8  - 93mm bore and 102.5mm stroke
300TDI - 90.47mm bore and 97mm stroke. 

The kit comprises of the following NEW components:

• Crankshaft
• Set of 4 connecting rods
• Set of 4 new pistons and rings
• Set of big end bearing shells
• Set of main bearing shells
• Set of thrust washers
• Special metal layer head gasket
• Full instructions and dimensions for rebore of block               

The fuel injection pump will require to be re calibrated to the new engine size.  For specification please enquire.
