RTC 6442R Piston Assembly 2.5D n/a

Piston assembly supplied complete with piston rings, gudgeon pin and circlips.

AE/Nural have been obsolete for many years therefore replacement only available.

Under the circumstances of unavailabilty of 2.5 n/a diesel pistons of the correct quality/specification we supply 2.5 turbo diesel pistons as a direct replacement. The piston is the same as the 2.5 n/a but with a coating on the piston crown and stronger construction (read heavy duty piston)

The replacement pistons available elsewhere are more often than not a copy of the early GKN version which have  square corners in an area adjacent to the gudgeon pin which can over time fracture and lead to failure .  Square corners are not desirable in this type of component as they are considered crack inducing.
