The rocker shafts we supply are hardened then ground after the heat treatment process for good reliablity in longterm service.

The rockershaft is the latest issue which fits both petrol and diesel engines. When replacing an early 2.25 petrol rocker shaft it may be found the oil holes are in a slightly different location. This is intended and does not affect fit, function or purpose. When replacing Series 2 petrol rocker shafts (2) with this one piece shaft, the locating screw is only on number 2 rocker post looking from the front.
